Description: This long pole is made of African Sapele/Sapelli/Sapeli. The Scientific name is Entandrophragma cylindricum. Janka Hardness: 1,410 lbf (6,280 N).
Crushing Strength: 8,750 lbf/in2. Sapelli is a very popular African redwood often called Sapelli Mahogany (it is in the same family as Mahogany).
Sapelli is harder and desener than Mahogany. This pole is varnished with a clear coat.
This pole was professionally dried to maintain correct moisture and minimize cracking.
The price is sold as a pack/2 pieces..... 2 pieces together is safe for transporation!!! if not, only singe piece, it will bend or crack if rude shipping!!!!
