Piranha Gear Full Size Kicking Shield - Med Firm, Tan

A curved face, full size kicking pad with medium dense padding for people that want kick shields that will take lots of punishment. These are NOT intended for use with small children or new students. We make these specifically for people that are doing hard punches and kicks. If you're looking for the softer pads (specifically the ones that have an air bladder or softer foam) then this is NOT the right one. We do carry one style even firmer (more for our professional fighters), but this one is still more firm than the air bladder styles.

Roughly 22" long, 16" wide, and 5" thick with four handles on the back to allow complete freedom of choice over how you're going to hold the pad for your partner during the workout. The front of the pad is slightly concave to keep your blows from sliding off the face. The handles are made of heavy braided nylon with an insert to allow for more comfort. The tan color surface has a slight texture which helps keep your hand/foot on the pad and not slip as easy when sweaty.

We also have these made with a heavy, thick zipper with TWO zipper head/tags, not just one. The zipper tags have a little pocket to keep them out of your way during workouts. We put the zipper on the TOP of the bag (though with 4 handles it doesn't really matter - that's just based on the direction of the printing) because the bottom of the bag always seems to go out first and we could never figure out why other manufacturers put the zipper in the wrong place...?

We do NOT recommend these for children as they generally are not kicking hard enough to need this sort of padding. You're going to feel the kick more since it doesn't just bounce off the pad like an air bladder... We usually compare them as the difference between kicking an air mattress or a (soft) phone book. The other type for light kicks and this one to prevent serious damage.
